Selling books with live data feed

With version 1.1.7 you can turn your website from a normal Ecommerce site to one selling books with live data feed from clients.
This simple to use feature quickly enables you to allow your clients to sign up at your website and add their books for sale. They only need the ISBN number of the book they want to sell. You have the option to decide the basic price of the books they list, and allow the client to add the amount of postage and, importantly, your fee.
There are several steps to complete before you can use this feature. You have to sign up with one of the data providers.

Note: You will need to "ensure" you have "already" set up "sections" for the books to be listed in. You can have as many sub-sections as you like, however, you must provide at least one section that can contain item pages to allow a client to list a book. For example sections can be listed as "action", "war", "comedy" etc
Sign in to your "administration" area and click on the "Settings" tab. Click on the link "Turn features on or off" which can be found under the sub- heading "Site features & Layouts".
When your main features page loads, scroll down to the "member" section and choose "yes" from the "use auto book data". While you are on this page you will also need to turn on the following ("Members login", "Collect cheque and or PayPal") information (so you can pay your sellers) "Use e-qcart" and "Use stock control". Click the "submit" button. This has now activated the feature.
Click on the link "E-QCart Settings" found under the sub-heading "Ecommerce" and change the shipping costs by to "Individual costs". Click the "submit" button to save your changes.
From the main "Settings" tab click on the link "Auto book collection settings" which can be found under the sub-heading "Ecommerce".
When your main Auto book collection settings screen loads you will be confronted with several options. Choose your data provider from the "which service", ensuring you have already signed up with them. Enter your user key and the values for how much you want the books to sell for, your fee and a default shipping cost from the relevant boxes.
