Emails which are returned as undeliverable are annoying but often nothing to be alarmed about. They can be for a mixture of reasons, some of which are mentioned below.
- You have sent the email to an email address which does not exist, re-send the email using the correct address.
- The receiving mail server may be experiencing an issue, try again later.
- The receiving clients inbox is full, wait and try again or contact them via phone to check their emails.
- You have tried to send an email using the wrong SMTP settings. Correct these and try again.
- You have been sending bulk emails and the receiving mail server might have marked your address as spam.
- The receiving email server using its own specifications deems your email to be spam. This can be due to some of the above, too much HTML content is used, or it does not appear to be addressed to a particular client.
- The receiving email server has received too many reports of spam from your account and their clients have asked for you to be blocked.
- The individual client has blocked you as spam.
- The SMTP you are sending from is listed on a mailing blacklist.

Note: There can be many different reasons for email errors. It may be a mixture of all or some of the above.
