Testimonials

Testimonials are a quick and convenient way to show off what other clients are saying about your company and services. These give feedback from existing clients to potential clients.
You are in full control. All testimonials submitted are hidden from view until reviewed by the site owner. You can opt to edit the testimonial, completely remove it or authorise it for display.
You can manually add testimonials given by email, letter or phone.

Note: To use this feature you must have first turned it on. You can do this from the settings area “turn features on or off”.
To administer these settings login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Content" and from this page click on the link "Testimonials". This can be found under the sub-heading "Client Communication".
When the main “Testimonials " page loads a list of current testimonials will be displayed. You can permanently remove one by clicking the "delete" button or change what is shown by clicking the "Modify" button.
To add a new testimonial click the "add new" button. When this page loads you will have several options to complete.
Type the client's name, leaving the testimonial in the box “Name” and the client's email address within the box “Email”. The client's email address is not shown on your site and is used purely so that they can administer their account and view their testimonial.
You can choose to send an automated message to the client when you add the review, by selecting the “yes” option from the “send response” drop down.
If you wish the testimonial to be displayed on your site choose “yes” from the “show” box (other options are available, see note below) Type the testimonial in the “testimonial” box.
When you have finished click the "submit" button to save your changes.

The automated emails sent to the client leaving the testimonial, will depend on the option you have chosen from the “Show” box. This feature will only work if the “Send client email on show / reject” is switched on from the core settings page. |

This sends an automated email informing the client that their testimonial has successfully passed your review and has been added to the site. |
| Hide: |
This prevents a testimonial being seen by anyone, no emails are sent. |
| Reject: |
This sends an automated email informing the client that their testimonial has not been successfully added. This thanks them for their time and offers some basic reasons as to why the testimonial may have been rejected. |
