Promotion codes
You can create one or more special offers using this feature. This can be used by an individual or several clients. This can be used to market leaflets, newsletters, or from within your own website. You can offer anything from a fixed amount, a percentage or even free shipping.
Login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Members or Order". Click on the link "Promotion code" which can be found under the sub-heading "Discounts".
When your main "Promotion code " setting page loads you will see a list of available promotion codes. To modify one, click the "modify" button and to permanently remove one click the "delete" button next to the one you wish to administer.
To add a new promotional code, click the Add new button. Your screen will load the add new promotion code page providing you with several options. Complete any required boxes and click the "submit" button to apply your changes.
Current settings available;
| Title / Name: | This is the name of the zone you will see within the administration area of your web site and is not seen by the client. |
| Promotion code: | This is the code you advertise to your clients. They can use this during the checkout to obtain the promotional offers. The system will automatically make a code for you, but you can use your own. |
| Type: | You can decide if this promotional code will be either a fixed amount off, a percentage off or free shipping. |
| Min amount: | Set the amount a client must spend before this promotional offer can be used. |
| Min Qty: | Set the quantity a client must purchase before this promotional offer can be used. |
| Expires: | If you require the promotional code to finish at a given date, choose yes from the drop down and the date you wish it to expire / end from the on box. |
| Amount: | The amount you are offering as the promotion. This should be a number only i.e. 10.00 |
| Can be used: | This shows the number of times this promotional code can be used, leave set to "0" for unlimited. |
| Against: | Currently not used. |
