To add products to your website make sure you have already made at least one section / category to hold them.

When you have set up your sections you can begin adding your products, assigning options if applicable, and listing them in the relevant section.

Login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Content" and from this page click on the link "Products" which can be found under the sub-heading "Products".

When the main "Products" page loads you will see a search box. This can be used to narrow down which product you wish to administer. You can also administer CSV and export tools here.

If you have already inputted a few products clicking the "list" button will show a list of these products. From here you can use the "quick change" feature to administer the sort orders and pricing. You can assign tabs to a product by clicking the "Tabs" button (click here to learn about tabs and assigning them) and assign related products by clicking the "Related" button.

To remove a product click the "delete" button next to the required product name. To administer a product in more detail click the "modify" button.

To add a new product click the "Add new" button and when your new product page loads complete all of the required fields.

Important note

Note: All options listed below will be available to you if you use the extra turn on or off features.

Current available options for this page are;

Title:	This allows you to define a separate navigation name for the page. An example here would be you have the page title of "about our software". This would be too long to show on the navigation section so you want a shorter name such as about us.
Meta title:	This is used by search engines and by clients searching the net for keywords. It is a method of identifying what the page is about.
Keywords:	This allows you to define a number of keywords to help clients find your pages and for search engines list them. Each keyword should be separated with a comma.
Description file:	This allows you to upload a text file rather than use the main description box. This helps if many products are of a similar description.
Description:	This allows you to add content, text or images to the page and is called the body of the page. This HTML editor works much like any word processor and includes its own help files to aid you.
Link 1 - 3:	This allows you to add links to your product such as PDF help, instructions etc
SKU:	This allows you to assign an SKU number to the product used on many areas of the site. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this
ID:	This allows you to assign an ID to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
ISBN:	This allows you to assign an ISBN to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this
Author:	This allows you to assign an "Author " to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
Publisher:	This allows to you assign a "Publisher " to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
Publication:	Only to be used when the auto book feature is turned on
Make:	This allows you to assign a "Make " to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
Model:	This allows you to assign a "Model" to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
Size:	This allows you to assign a "Size" to the product. Leave blank if you do not wish to use this.
Sort by:	This allows you to override the default navigation order of alphabetically listed pages to any order you wish. An example here would be if you wanted your 'about us' page to be the first on the navigation section for information pages, you would set this to 1 and then change the other pages' menu order accordingly 1,2,3 etc.
Layout:	This provides several options for the layout of the product pages. To view these click here.
Add to menu:	This allows you to remove a page from the navigation area. You can either link to the page via another or include the link as part of your site template. You may wish to do this for 'about us' pages, 'terms' and 'contact us' type pages.
Level:	Login level of clients who can view this page (see here)
Show:	Hide the product from your clients until you need to show it.
Type:	Allows you to assign this to a product (see here for more).
Section:	Assign this to its main product section.
Extra sections:	Assign this to show in up to 15 additional sections.
Static name:	Although your site works with dynamic pages (makes the page and contents in real-time) it is often better to use static page names for improved search engine placement. To take advantage of this feature, type the page name you choose. An example here would be about us. Type about us.asp in the box. The software will clean up and convert the name to about_us.asp and make the file for you (if turned on). While making static file names, the software will scan your site to ensure the name has not been used already for another page. If it finds a duplicate page it will automatically rename the newest for you. *It is important to note the static file name MUST end in .asp*
Which css:	If you have additional CSS files you can choose which one you wish this product to use.
Cost:	The product cost price.
RRP:	The product RRP price.
Price:	The product selling price
Wholesale price level 1 & 2:	The product discount price, used with client login discount levels.
Download file:	Upload a file if this is a download product.
Show buy button:	Show or hide the purchase buy button.
Price layout:	Select how to show your price and options for this product (view layout options).
Delivery times:	Allows you to assign delivery times to a product (see here for more).
Rewards:	Allows this product to be used to earn reward points if turned on.
Supplier:	Allows you to assign a supplier to a product (see here for more).
Options:	Allows you to assign options to this product (see here for more).
Product key:	Creates a product key when this item sells.
Small image: Learn to upload and the features	Upload a small image, used on sections, search and what's new lists.
Rollover image: Learn to upload and the features	Used to provide a rollover image to the small image. This is for use with product sections only.
Large image: Learn to upload and the features	The products main image.
Zoom image: Learn to upload and the features	A larger image to use as a zoom image.
Alt tags:	Used for SEO. By default the page title is used as the Image ALT tag, however, you can override this by typing in the content you need.
Which zoom:	Selects which style zoom to use.
Stock by:	If you are using stock control choose whether the stock should be based on the main product or the product options.
Stock Qty:	If you are using stock control based on the product add the stock level here
Alt tags:	Used for SEO. By default the page title is used as the Image ALT tag, however, you can override this by typing in the content you need.
Out of stock message:	Used to show a message to your client when a product becomes out of stock. Example would be Stock expected with 2 weeks.
Links:	Allows you to add links to content such as to a PDF document.
Additional images:	Allows you to add up to a further 6 images to your detail page. Used to change your main product image when selected or hovered over.
Spare product fields:	Allows you to add extra titled content such as volume, range etc.
Weight:	If you have chosen the shipping by weight option this box allows you to add the product weight.
Shipping cost:	If you have chosen the shipping by individual costs this box allows you to add the product cost to ship.
Allow pre order:	If switched on and stock control is in use this allows you to have the product show a “pre-order button” rather than the out of stock message.
Gift wrap price:	If switched on, this allows you to add the cost of someone choosing the gift wrap option for this product.
