Affiliates
Offering an affiliation service with your site and goods is often an affordable and easy approach to marketing particularly when put against other marketing types. Unlike most other ways of marketing your company where you have to pay an amount per click regardless of you making a sale or paying out right for other types, affiliation offers the ability to ONLY pay for sales made.
Note: It is assumed you have already turned the feature on and you have set up the affiliates main settings. If you have not done so please visit tuning on features and then your affiliates' settings page.
Login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Members or Order", from this page click on the link "Affiliates" which can be found under the sub-heading "Members".
When the main "Affiliates" setting page loads you will see a list of all the clients signed up to be an affiliate with you. Within this list you will see the date they joined and any amounts that you have already paid them, along with their affiliation code. If you wish to remove an affiliate click the "delete" button. To change their details click the "modify" button.
To manually add a new affiliate, click on the "Add new" button. From the next page complete their details.
To view an affiliate's stats and set an amount to pay click the "Pay - view stats" button. Whilst viewing their report you can also select an amount to pay them (assuming they have made you sales" ) Type the amount in the "amount to pay" box. Click the "pay" button which will then remove this figure from the amount left to pay. Remember to send them their money.
