Special payments
The special payments feature allows you to accept unique amounts of payment, without having to add a new product. For example, a client has phoned up after placing an order and wants to pick the ship next day option which costs more. The client can use this form to pay the difference.
To administer this feature (if turned on) login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Settings" and then click "Special payments" which can be found under the sub-heading "Ecommerce".
When the main special payments window loads you will see several boxes. The request invoice option allows you to ask the client for the invoice number and the amount it is relating to. If you choose no then the system will not ask for this.
You can assign a name for the amount box and a page title. Normally, the defaults are sufficient for most needs. However, you are completely free to choose your own.
If you need to add additional information to the page you can do so by adding your comments and descriptions in the header and footer boxes.
Click the "submit" button to make your changes active
