Secure forms
Secure forms provide contact us type forms or questionnaires. The inbuilt form feature helps you to remain secure by preventing spammers from collecting your email addresses. The security box ensures people are using the form rather than automated spam scripts.
Note: If you need to add more options you will first need to create these. You can then assign them to the form you require. Click here to learn how to create them.
To administer these settings login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Content" and from this page click on the link "Secure forms". This can be found under the sub-heading "Client Communication".
When the main "secure forms" page loads, a list of available forms will be displayed. You can remove one by clicking the "delete" button or change what is shown by clicking the "Modify" button.
To add a new form click the "add new" button. When this page loads you will have several options to complete. When you have finished adding all of the required form fields, click the "submit" button to save your changes.
Current form options available;
| Menu title: | Allows you to choose what is shown on the page title and navigation such as "contact us" |
| Recipient email: |
Allows you to decide which email address you will collect these forms from. Please note, depending on your host you may only be able to send email from your site when using your company email address. |
| Send a copy to: | This works like most email packages. It allows you to have a copy of the form sent to an alternative email address as well as the main address listed above. |
| Main subject: | This is the subject that appears in your email. |
| Static name: | If use static pages are turned on, it allows you to have a search engine optimised page name, rather than dynamic ones. The static page name must not include spaces and MUST end in .asp |
| Page redirect: |
This allows you to forward a client to a page once they have completed the form. An example would be to send them back to your home page or a particular product or information page. |
| Show on navigation: | This allows you to decide if you want this form to be listed on your main side navigation area. If you wish to use the form from another page or your top or footer navigation area, select "No" rather than "yes".

This allows you to add additional information such as your address, or to register your interest in xx please complete the following form. |
| Select which to use: | You can choose which information to collect from the client's name through to phone and fax numbers. Place a tick in the tick box to turn each field that you wish to use on. To ensure a client completes a box, you can tick the required box. To widen or shorten the boxes shown to clients select the appropriate size from the drop down. |
| Additional form options: | If you wish to collect additional information such as "your comments" etc select how many you want to add from the "Additional form options":drop down. On doing so, several new drop downs will appear labelled from option 1 to option 40. Select the option you wish to show from the drop downs in the order you wish them to appear on the form |
| Confirmation page: |
This allows you to add text and images such as thank you or we will contact you soon. |
