Visits and Page Hits

These statistics allow you to see which pages are viewed on your site, from general information pages through to product pages. The key benefit here is statistic analysis. This will tell you if your pages are achieving sufficient hits and receiving a proportional return.
For example, if you are getting lots of hits to a product page but not getting sufficient sales for the item, then you know you have to review that page. Is the description weak? Are the image qualities poor? Is the price too high? Maybe the product is simply out of fashion. This allows you to decide if you need to remove the item or adjust it to better fit the market.
Your statistics are broken down into several sections to aid viewing and analysis. The first area is "Your site Statistic". Here you can view the number of visitors in the last 24 hours, the current number live on line, the number of total page impressions and the average number of views per page for the total number of visits.

Note: It is worth mentioning that each server and hosting account may reset the core servers before a full 24 hours are completed. This will have an effect on the numbers shown for visits and currently online.
The second area of these statistics "Other site statistics" allows you to view just about every page of your site and the number of total hits each area has. At anytime you can view each area in detail by clicking the "view" link next to the area of interest.
This will expand showing each page name in turn with its number of visits / hits.
If you want to see how many hits you receive over a particular time frame your can click the "reset all hits" link at the start of the reporting period.
