View items on back order
The "current items" on the back order main listing page, allows you to see the products and order numbers of items you do not have in stock, and are waiting to ship out to complete an order. This allows you to keep an eye out on orders awaiting arrival of goods or allows you to place a "just in time" order with your supplier. This ensures that you keep money in your account until the last minute.
To administer these settings login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Members or Order" and from this page click on the link "Current items on back order". This can be found under the sub-heading "Orders".
When your main "Current items on back order " setting page loads you will see a list of items marked as "on back order". With the item name that is on back order you will see the relevant order number and the date and time it was placed. From here clicking the "order number" takes you directly to the order details' page.
Note: To mark an item as "on back order" you must first administer your client's order and tick the "OBO" box next to the item in question. This will allow the client to be notified of the order status change. This will then place the item in question on the administration list.
