Top & Bottom Navigation

The top and bottom navigation feature enables you to add and remove links which appear either in the top page or in the footer. You can change your links as often as you like, whenever you like from any computer with access to the world wide web

Note: It is important to understand that these links are confined to the dimensions of your website. If you add too many links to either, they could vanish from view or push your main site design out of alignment.
To administer this feature login to your administration area. Click on the "Settings" tab and then on the next page click "Top & Footer site Links". These can be found under the sub-heading "Site features & Layouts".
When your "Top & Footer site Links" administration screen loads you will see a list of currently used links for your footer and top navigation areas. If you wish to remove a link click the "Delete" button.
To add a new link click the "Add new button". A new page will load providing some very simple options. Type the name for the link you wish to appear on your website in the box "Link Title" and the page name you wish to link to in the URL box. If the link is to a page on your site then you should only add the page name in this box. An example is contact_us.asp.
However, if the link is to be to an external website, you should include the full URL to the page. An example is http://www.somesite.com/index.asp.
From the "Location" drop down select the location for this link. If you wish set the order you would like it to be shown in from the "Order" box. Your next option is to decide if this link should open in the current / same window, or in a new window. This is what you would usually do if linking to an external website.
Finally, click the "submit" button to save the link. Repeat the process until you have added all of your links.

Note: It is "important" that you "MUST" click the "make footer" or "make top navigation" buttons to activate your changes. The footer and top navigation may not be applicable to your design. This may be the case for custom designs and older versions.
