Site poll
The site poll is a useful feature which can be used to find out information such as, which football team will win a league, or important information such as was our site useful, or which area would you like to see expanded.
You can have a unlimited number of polls running at any time. These will randomly display each time a page is refreshed.
To add a poll login to your websites administration area. Click on the tab "Marketing", and then on the link "site poll". The main poll listing page will load. If you have already created a poll before, you will see a list of these with a "modify" and delete button next to each one.
Clicking the "delete" button will permanently remove the associated poll. Clicking the "modify" button will allow you to change or add options for your poll.
To add a new poll to the list, click the link "Add new" and a new page will load. Complete the available box and the date range you would like the poll to operate between. Click the "submit" button. This has now added the core poll category.
Once the software has completed the save, it will automatically take you back to the main listing. Click the "modify" button next to the poll you have just added. This will open up the poll and allow you to add poll options.
Within the main poll area, click the "add new" link. This can be found in the area labelled "Options associated with this poll". Complete the new boxes, the extra information is supplied to the user via a new window and you can leave this blank. When you are finished click the "submit" button.
Complete the process to add as many poll options as your require.
When you have finished, your poll will be live for others to view and vote on.
