Handle every single aspect of your site
Site logo
Within your site administration settings you can add and change your site's main logo by clicking the upload link next to the logo field. This will replace the supplied logo with your own. Please ensure the logo size fits within your design.
If you do not wish to have a logo displayed then you can remove this in one of two ways depending on your site version.
For the most up to date versions you can clear all the text found in the logo field and click submit to remove the logo. For older versions you will need to upload a blank image to remove the logo.
Our software offers the facility to replace the logo by adding your own. This is an easy manoeuvre.
Each of our web templates come with a blank logo for you to use, found in the images folder. This blank is designed to a specific size to fit your chosen web template and you must adjust the size of your own logo to fit.
To do this, open your graphics program (we have used Adobe Fireworks CS3 but any graphics program is usually suitable) browse to the images folder and choose the file named "logo_blank.jpg " This will open up in your graphics program for you to add/edit your own design/logo to the exact size required for your template.
When you are satisfied, save your adapted logo as "newlogo.jpg" or "newlogo.gif" It is "very important" that you save your logo with the .jpg or.gif extension, otherwise your logo will not be able to be viewed on the web.
To add the logo to your web site, follow the steps below
- Login in to your admin area
- Go to settings
- Click Edit on main settings
- Click upload site logo to upload your logo from your PC
- A pop up window will appear
- Click browse
- Browse to your newly created logo on your PC
- Select it
- Click submit
- Select click to finish
- Click submit on the button at the bottom of your admin page
