Media Manager
The media manager offers you an easy way to administer many types of files held on your site. These range from images through to zip files, video, sound files and many others. All eight main folders are available. Clicking on each one lists the content of the folders and any sub-folders.
Once the folder has listed its content you can click on each file in turn. This will display either the file as an image or allow you to download files such as a zip file.
You can, in most cases, safely rename and delete images. The software will automatically double check your database to rename the file and the content. In the case of deleting an image it will double check you are not using it and warn you if necessary.
Note: Images that have been used within the HTML description boxes or your main site design cannot be checked so caution should be used.
Included within this feature is the ability to upload your files. We recommend that images have are optimised for display and file size, before uploading them. Alternatively, use the main upload links found throughout the software which can be seen next to each relevant image box.
