Left Hand Navigation
The left hand navigation, perversely, (in some designs this is located on the right) is your main dynamic menu. It allows clients to easily navigate through your site. You can use this page to change the sort order per section and rename the default links, rather than changing the language file.
Note: Not all designs will have the main navigation. this can be the case for some custom designs so this information may not be applicable to you. This is not a fault, but a deliberate design omission.
To administer this feature login to your administration area. Click on the "Settings" tab and then on the next page click "Left Hand Navigation". This can be found under the sub-heading "Site features & Layouts".
When your "Left Hand Navigation" administration screen loads you will see a list of navigation names and departments. To re-name a link or link section, type the name you require in the box provided and click the Submit "button" to apply your changes. If a link is not used you cannot re-name it. To assign the sort order use the drop down boxes next to each link in turn with 1 being the first 2 being the second and so on.
Your final options for this page are to decide if you wish to use the pop out menu (click here for more) or to hide the main home page link. This can be useful if you have opted to include the home link in your top navigation.
To apply your changes click the "submit" button.
