You can use a Flash animation with the HTML editor
The HTML editor allows for basic word entering along with a few advanced features. The ability to add a Flash animation and other embedded media types to this HTML editor helps you to supply more detail to your clients.
Note: Ensure you have already uploaded the media file that you wish to use either via FTP or using the Media manager
On any page which contains a HTML editor click on the icon which looks like a "film strip" from the editor’s menu system. Your empty editor will look like;
Once you have clicked the "film strip" icon you will have a small pop up window which will look like this;
From within this pop up pick the flash option from the drop down “Type”. Input the media file path in the “File/URL” box. You will see a preview of what you have chosen in the “preview” area.
You can now add the correct width and height for the media file from within the dimensions area. If you need to add further details such as id’s, alignment, flashvars and many others you can do so by clicking the “advanced” tab and completing the relevant boxes.
Click the “insert” button to apply the changes to your HTML editor and make sure you save the page to make it viewable.
