Find and replace
The find and replace tool allows you to quickly search a section of your site for a single word or a phrase and replace it with new content. This is particularly useful if you have found a spelling mistake on multiple pages, or if constantly used information such as your phone number has changed.
Using this feature is as simple as it looks. Type the word or sentence you are looking for in the first box "Find". In the second box "Replace" type the word or sentence you want to replace it with, finally select the area of your site to search through. To apply the change click the "submit" button and allow the software to do the work for you.
Note: Did you know that leaving the replace box empty acts as a find and remove feature, removing what you are searching for?
If you have used HTML characters for example for the & symbol you will need to search using the HTML version. Example would be "Postage & packing" is not the same as "Postage & amp; packing".
Incorrect example:
