Clean your CSS file

This tool is particularly helpful after first developing your site or making many changes in your CSS file. By running this tool you will not only have a much more condensed CSS file but one that allows your site to operate in a more efficient way.
When you load this tool the default CSS file is automatically added for you in the box. Your CSS file, unless you have created a different CSS file, there should be no need to change this.
You are presented with an option to remove the comments from the CSS file. These are added by default to enable you to identify different areas of the CSS file and to administer it. As your site grows and the design is finished these comments become of little value. They take up valuable space and server resources which slows down your site.
When you are satisfied that you have chosen the appropriate options, click on the button submit. The software will automatically remake the CSS file removing spaces and unused features, as well as converting long colour codes to their shorthand versions. This results in a smaller file size and a quicker page load time.
