- catID, This is the database number which is used internally. When adding new items you must make sure this column is removed. When updating you must ensure this column OR SKU is in first place.
- catsku, This is the SKU or product id of each product.
- caTitle, Is the name you would like to use on each product / item.
- catkeywords, Allows you to list the keywords for this item.
- catmetatitle, The meta description for each item.
- catimagesm, Is used to show an image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg.
- catimagelg, Is used to show an image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg.
- catzoom, Is used to show an image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg.
- catdescription, Is the main description for the item and is used for the meta tags
- catshow, Allows you to show or hide a product from view. Your options are the following numbers;
- 1 = Show
- 0 = Hide
- 3 = Show on print list only
- catsectionid ,The database number of a section you wish the item to appear as.
- catprice, This is the price you wish to sell your items for.
- catrrp, This is often called recommended retail price and allows you to add a normally sold for" price.
- catcost, This allows you to add the actual cost of this item to you. It is used within the admin and not shown to clients.
- catshownav, Allows you to add a link direct to the navigation by adding a "1" in the column or showing it the standard way by setting it to "0."
- catwholesalep1, Is used with client login level discounts / prices.
- catwholesalep2, Is used with client login level discounts / prices.
- catsell, Allows you to show or hide the buy button from view. Your options are the following numbers;
- 1 = Show
- 0 = Hide
- catlayout, Allows you to choose the item page overall layout. You can use the following numbers
- 1 = Image top, Text bottom
- 2 = image right, text left
- 3 = image left, text right
- 4 = Two cols, image 1, text 2
- cattype, This is the database number of a type. Setting this to 0 will mean do not use
- sectionDisabled, This shows or hides the item from view. The default to show an item is 0 and works in connection with the client login level up to level 6.
- itemorder ,Allows you to choose the order in which items are listed. 0 is the default 1 would show first then 2 and so on.
- altimage1, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg.
- altimage2, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg
- altimage3, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg
- altimage4, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg
- altimage5, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg
- altimage6, Is used to show an extra image on the product page. CSV does not upload your images and the format should be images/myimage.jpg
- readtxt, Allows you to have part or all of the description as a text document. The CSV import will not upload any text document you have to do it manually and the format would be, txtfiles/myfile.txt
- alttagsm, Override for the small image alt tag
- alttag, Override for the large image alt tag
- prodkey, This allows you to use an ID for your item, in addition to the SKU
- showprodkey, This allows you to show the ID on your item page. 0 = hide, 1 = show
- prodelan, This allows you to use an isbn number for your item
- showprodelan, This allows you to show the isbn on your item page. 0 = hide, 1 = show
- catdownfile, The file name of a downloadable file
- delid, This is the database number of a delivery time scale. Setting this to 0 will mean do not use, therefore, type the number of the time scale you want to use here.
- catreward, Use the reward point system for this item. The following numbers can be used.
- 0 = No
- 1 = Yes
- 2 = yes use double points
- 3 = Yes use triple points
- catspid, This is the database number of a manufacturer / Supplier. Setting this to 0 will mean do not use. Therefore, type the number of the manufacturer / Supplier you want to use here.
- showbuyopts, Is the layout of the options and price for this item. You can use the following numbers.
- 1= Price right, options left
- 2 = Price left, options right
- 3 = Options top, price below
- cxlink, this allows you to place a link on your item detail page - this filed contains the URL
- cxlinkt, This field allows you to type the name you would like to appear for the above link
- cxlink2, this allows you to place a link on your item detail page - this filed contains the URL
- cxlinkt2, This field allows you to type the name you would like to appear for the above link
- cxlink3, this allows you to place a link on your item detail page - this filed contains the URL
- cxlinkt3, This field allows you to type the name you would like to appear for the above link
- catauth, This allows you to add an Author
- catpubr, This allows you to add a publisher
- catpubn, This allows you to add a publication either hardback or paperback
- catsize, This allows you to add a size
- catmodel, This allows you to add a model
- catmake, This allows you to add a make
- catcanpordkey, This allows you to sell an item and issue a product key. Setting this to 0 would not issue a product key whilst setting this to 1 would issue a product key with the item.
Tips:
- Choose the section you are interested in first, click the list before exporting your CSV. You will get a CSV containing items from within that section only.
- You can update items by either the catId or catSKU field but the one you wish to update with must be in the first column.
- If updating by SKU, make sure you remove the catID column
Note: Before using this CSV feature, ensure you have read and understood each field, reviewed the limitations of CSV’s and backed up your website database.
