Handle every single aspect of your site
Auto book collection settings
You can assign your settings for use with the "use auto book data" found on the main "Turn features on or off" page. Here you can change your fee or the core price of the books sold at any time.
Note: To learn how to fully activate these features please click here for a step by step guide.
To administer these settings login to your administration area. Click on the tab "Settings" and from this page click on the link "Auto book collection settings". This can be found under the sub-heading "Ecommerce".
When your "Auto book collection settings" loads several boxes will be displayed. The important note to make here is that you must have already signed up with one of the available data feed providers. More can be seen about these at the bottom of this page.
Current settings;
| Which service: | The data service that you have signed up with. This produces the images and descriptions for books if available. |
| Sell books for: | The amount you want your clients to charge for a book. Their profit is made within the shipping charge. |
| Default shipping cost: | Assign the default shipping costs for each sale. Your client can overwrite this when they list a book for sale. |
| How it works: | Allows you to provide a quick how it works message to your clients. |
| Final footer message: | A message which is added to the bottom of the final list page. |
| User key: | The user key / password your data service has provided you after signing up with them. |
| Your cost: | This is how much profit you want to make per sale. |
Note: Data provider notes
www.ibookdb.net - These often provide the service free of charge. The only request is that you place a link to them on your site. This service allows the collection of book titles, author, descriptions and images.
www.isbndb.com - These often provide the service free of charge depending on the number of requests made.
