Add a picture to a description box

Whilst administering the content of your website you will come across a description or content box. This will contain an HTML editor that works like a word document package or email package.
You can use different font colours, tables, flash and additional images. This is useful when managing newsletter templates.
To add an image to the description / HTML editor login to your administration area. Then navigate to the page you wish to administer. When the relevant admin page loads you will see the HTML editor as shown below;

Once you have clicked the "Tree" icon you will have a small pop up window which will look like this;

Type the image name and path in the "image URL" box; this can be in the form of "itemimages/yourimage.jpg" if the image is on your own site. Finally, for this screen type an image description in the "description box" for SEO and compliance.

Note: If you wish to add an image or a link to a newsletter or email template you "MUST" use the "full path" to the image or link. For example images/myimage.jpg is "wrong". You should use "http://www.mysite.com/" images/myimage.jpg.
You will by now see a preview of the image you have used. Click the "Insert" button to add the image to your HTML editor.

Note: To add an image to your HTML editor you must first have uploaded it. To learn how to upload additional images please click here.
